Resources for Photographers
For the 2011-2012 Issue of InFrame Bride we are leaving our Cover to You! This ANNUAL issue will have two covers (fall/winter, spring/summer). If you are an advertiser in our 2011-12 Issue you still have the opportunity to shoot our Spring/Summer cover!
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?: This contest is open to all Michigan based photographers and wedding planners. For the Spring/Summer cover ONLY those photographers who are advertisers in the 2011-12 Issue are eligible to enter. View our 2011 Media Kit. We are excited to announce that we will be collaborating with Shutter Sam and HeyDay Event Lab to put together an amazing Fall/Winter cover!
What We’re Looking For: One great IDEA! As you know, InFrame Bride is all about showcasing the most cutting-edge wedding images. We want an idea for an image that pushes the envelope of wedding creativity and is eye-catching. When a bride spots your cover image on the magazine rack in Meijer, we want her to feel so intrigued that she has to pick it up! There are no holds barred when it comes to theme, idea, Photoshop wizardry, colorful mood lighting, rocket-fueled jet packs…all are welcome here. All we ask is that the idea corresponds with the respective season.
How to Enter: Please send an email to Kristine@InFrameBride.com subject line COVER, designate Fall/Winter or Spring/Summer. Please submit IDEAS for both! Give a brief summary of your vision and feel free to include images from your portfolio or magazines that help to illustrate your idea. The idea can be something simple, i.e.) bride on a snowdrift, or more complex i.e.) an entire wedding display featuring a specific theme with the cake, flowers, tablescapes, etc. Be sure to fill in the details where possible: do you have a location in mind, vendors you know and want to work with, a color scheme, a time era, a theme?
What to Expect: This is a collaborative effort! We will help you bring your vision to life! Whether it’s models, a location or props you’re lacking to complete the vision….we’ll make sure to fill in the blank spaces. We’ll work with you to coordinate the before and day-of details. This may be more than just a cover shoot, it has the possibility of being an article too! ALSO, if your idea doesn’t get picked for the cover, it may make a great editorial.
Timeline: Fall/Winter cover submissions due by March 7th . Spring/Summer cover submissions due by May 15th. The Fall/Winter Cover will come out September 1st and the Spring/ Summer Cover will come out in the middle of January.
1.) WE ARE ALSO TAKING SUBMISSIONS FOR OUR ‘TALENT + HEART’ ARTICLE!

How to send info: If you or someone you know in the wedding industry is giving back to the community, tell us about it! Send an email with a quick story to Kristine@InFrameBride.com, subject line TALENT + HEART. The deadline for submissions is May 15th.
2.) DO YOU HAVE SOME EXPERTISE TO OFFER? Think you have a good story, expert tips or some wedding related advice to give to our brides? Tell us about it! Send an email with your idea to Kristine@InFrameBride.com, subject line VENDOR STORY. The deadline for submissions is May 15th.
